Does anyone know of a company that will talk to me while I am on probation? I am live in Salinas, CA.

Try a local or a central valley ag hauler. Most OTR won't touch you due to the requirement of your being able to be checked up on by a probation officer. BOL

I have never been on probation but I am pretty sure that wile on probation you are not allowed to leave the state.

Thank you for replying. I do have permission to leave the state. All of the locals require at least one year experience. I guess this isn't my calling in life, or I will just have to wait.

Does anyone know how far a company will dig to find out more info on moving violations? I looked at my DMV report, it just says speeding. I know it is for 15+ MPH. Do they investigate past the DMV report?

Salinas is north of L.A. 350 miles on HWY101 inland east of Monterey, south of San Jose 50 miles.

I am on probation for domestic violence (it was a loud argument with my spouse, no physical violence), I will be done in December 2007.

You can't be charged with DV if you didn't touch her. If it was just a "loud argument" all you could be charged with is disturbing the peace. Can you explain?
