I haven't been fishing in awhile. I'm down to my last frozen filets, which i just took out of the freezer, since you reminded me. They are small mouth bass, caught in my super secret spot on lake michigan. I like to fry them in my cast iron skillet, with some butter, salt, garlic, pepper, and some lemon juice. Sometimes I egg & batter them. I bake russet potatoes to go along with the fish...and of course there are onions cooking alongside the fish. French Baguette and for desert, raspberry jello with lots of fresh raspberries mixed in. Gourmet home cooking can't be beat.
anyway, that's what is for dinner tonight.
I don't really fish much through the summer because of the increase beach activity...
Fall fishing is great though, and I plan on going after some perch, maybe starting next week, then often as I can until the lakes freeze.
I'll also see if I can haul in a bunch of walleye's.
