    Which petroleum job do y'all consider to be the best pay or work in Dallas/Fort Worth?

    That would be as a company driver for Exxon.

    Get yourself 5 or 6 years of experience.....and if they still have company drivers then....apply.

    If you want to move to Baton Rouge LA my company is putting 3 trucks in there with-in a month, and more then likely adding another 2 or 3 over the course of the year. I think the drivers will be pulling fuel out of our "company owned rack" and driving a 500 mile round trip, one load a day, not sure of the pay scale, however am pretty sure you will make at least $ 50,000 a year. They would prefer a driver who has some fuel experience as well...

    Thanks for the information...

    What I am really curious about is the local fuel companies in the DFW area (i.e. Groendyke, Dupre, etc.)

    Groendyke pays "By the load".....Dupre pays by the hour. The Dupre drivers down here in south Texas are getting $24 an hour.
