Exclamation Need help finding a good Company

    Whats up guys and gals?

I'll try to make this as short as I can. I'm looking to get back into trucking. I haven't driven in 10 years. So I know my passed experience won't count for much. I drove for 12 years, 6 OTR 6 local. I leave in Myrtle Beach SC so my choices are somewhat limited due to the fact I don't leave close to I95. I'd like to be home on weekends. I'd prefer something local but due to the fact I haven't drove for so long I'm having some trouble. One of the things that's really hurting me IMO is I have a misdemeanor simple assault charge from 3 and a half years ago. Most company's I've applied with don't want anything on your record for 5 years. Lumber is big in this area so it's probably gonna be flatbed. I have my N T and hazmat endorsements. I was looking at Quality Carriers. does anyone know much about this company? Any advise I could get would be greatly appreciated. My driving record is fair. No tickets in over 3 years. 2 tickets in last 7 years No accidents in about 14 years. I've pulled dry vans, dry bulk tans ( cement) Reefers and very little flat bed. I think I've cover everything.... One more thing. I did just complete a class at Xtra Mile driver training to brush up on my driving skills. Thought It might help me in finding a job. Sorry if I forgot any info that might help....Thanks in advance.
