We applied and were invited up there for orientation a few weeks ago but ultimately went with another more midwest company. THey have onboard scanning for documents, electronic logs, decent pay from what I saw/was told but really much older equipment.. at least for teams. They told us the solos most likely would get Volvo 780's while teams get the freightliners... and were warned that many have a TON of miles... and we could possibly get one with 800,000 + miles. They said you could "use your descretion" but were pretty much expected to chain and keep moving... no thanks. Supposedly only about 40% of the fleet has APU's and while you CAN idle they prefer you DON'T... and all trucks come with a 1500 watt inverter. The recruiting guy was rather brash when we talked to him but when we got to the "interview" process the lady was extremely nice. come to think of it.. every one we talked to was quite nice except the recruiting guy, Steve.

We ultimately chose the other company because we were offered the better equipment, Volvo 780 with apu and 2000 watt inverter, even though we are getting paid a little less. We're averaging 5500 a week and get through home 2 to 3 times a week on a semi-dedicated route.

    Thanks,
My husband accepted their offer to begin employment with them.
