Cardinal Logistics
Talk about coming back from the dead, been almost 2 years since I have posted on here, but never the less I have a question for you all. Cardinal here Chesapeake Virginia Has openings right now. They said that the two primary accounts for Virginia are Home Depot and Chep Pallet. Was wondering if anyone has any information on these two accounts, how they are, etc. The basics, any info appreciated. They said the primary account they are trying to fill is home depot, but the pallet side may need some drivers also.
Thanks folks!

I ran into a Cardinal driver at the tire shop we get tires from about a year and a half ago, he was happy pulling for them on the Home Depot account. Had a day cab with a short flatbed behind him and a forklift on the tail gate. Actually he was getting a tire replaced on the lift at the time. Not sure if it was a rule or not but he was fairly well dressed, over dressed IMO for delivering onto construction sites. Had a nice polo shirt on with khakis and boots.

Chep Pallets are the blue pallets that you see at Wal-Mart.
We get a lot of Chep pallets at our warehouse from the OTR drivers. We used to run them to Ft. Worth to their warehouse. Chep has a warehouse now in Lubbock, so we use the local drivers to deliver them. When we hauled them to Ft. Worth, we had a delivery time, just like anywhere else. I always got there atleast 30 minutes early. I would sign in as soon as I got there, and sometimes they would put me in a door within minutes, and sometimes I had to wait until my actual delivery time. Occasionally, the girl at the desk would put me in a door right then. Didn't take long to unload, once they got me in a door. JB Hunt has a Chep account. I used to see a lot of daycab JB trucks there. I never did talk to the drivers, but like Cardinal, I'm guessing they are going to different warehouses, picking up the pallets and then unload at Chep.
I didn't know Cardinal pulled flatbeds. I used to meet up with a Cardinal driver at the hospital, when I was delivering. He was delivering medical stuff, I guess. Different size boxes on pallets.

Yeah, Cardinal Health. Ok. Well,.. I thought it sounded weird in the posts. I was thinking, "I didn't know they went to Home Depot. I thought they hauled medical stuff." Now it makes sense.

Instead of waiting on a reply on here. Why don't you just pick up the phone and call Cardinal. Then you can get the accurate information you need.Doesn't cost you anything but a few minutes of your time.

Yeah, i could do that, and talk to a recruiter. Lord knows they always tell the truth. I want my info straight from current, and former drivers for a reason.
