Default Flatbed outfits in western PA

I'm looking for some information on a couple of flatbed outfits, all of whom have terminals within 30-45 mins of where I now live, in western PA. These outfits are :

    BTC
    Yourga Trucking
    Nick Strimbu Trucking
    Trinity Logistics
    L.J. Kennedy
    Transport National

I've never pulled flatbeds before, and am seriously thinking of doing so. Ideally, tankers would be my first preference since I have relevant experience, but I can't afford to sit at home for 3 months while my HazMat and TWIC get processed.

I'm keen to know about how these outfits are as employers, and their general reputation in the industry.

    Thanks in advance.

You forgot P.G.T in Monaca Pa. They have a wallboard division along with a flatbed service and many dedicated accounts, like Wellington Steel. Southern Pines is also connected with them. L.J. Kennedy has closed there Aliquippa wallboard divsion due to a contract issue with its union drivers. Gypsum Express has taken up where Kennedy left off

    Thanks in advance.
Yourga and Strimbu are union. I think health insurance doesn't cost the employee anything, and the vesting for a teamster pension is around 3-years. I think it's around $100/month for each year of service. It's a lot of out and back, so you will want to live in the area.

You forgot about the Cream of the Crop - Falcon Transport! LOL
