    Default Any Info On FFE

Of the carriers you listed, FFE is probably the worst. Do an archieves search here and on other boards then make your decision. BOL

In my opinion, I would say that you would have better luck with Knight. I don't know anything about Gordon. FFE is a sister company to American Eagle Lines and Lisa. FFE, AEL, and Lisa haul to a lot of grocery houses. They run 48 states, and the last driver I talked to, (been several months ago) said they get home once a month or so. I'm not sure what their pay is now days, but the last I heard, it was in the high 20's/lower 30's per mile.

I've heard good things and bad things about Gordon. Last thing I heard was that they had a lawsuit against them or something about drivers' trucks automatically shutting off after a set amount of minutes of idling no matter what. Believe it was the Washington St. Labor Dept. filing it as inhumane particularly in the winter time when it's 10 degrees outside or worse.

ive seen two knight trucks in walsh yards in the last month. maybe they decide they would rather haul chips.
i pass those gordon trucks all day with my 63 mph truck. looks like they go 58 mph.
