curently hauling for leary plant farm. eather in an international 9400, frieghtliner columbia, or an fld. my areas of running are ga, sc, nc, and va
any furniture haulers on here?
My three favorite things about Pilot Truck Stops are; coffee, cups and lids.
Paschall Truck Lines.. Currently on military leave of absence.
CPC Logistics. Dragging Walgreens frieght around on a nightly 400 mile relay. Drop/Fuel/Hook then let the peddle driver deliver it during the day. Do it all again the next night.
I drive for my own company pulling a reefer out of AZ to east coast and back.Between this i also have my AIR FORCE guard commitment ever month.Pretty much staying busy, either with trucking or military and lastly, my lovely wife.
I work for a medium sized excavating / dump trucking / heavy haul company in WI.
It's a union shop - Teamsters Union, Operating Engineers Union, or Laborers Union, depending on the particular employee's job classification.
I'm in the Teamsters.
.
If you can't shift it smoothly, you shouldn't be driving it.
I got the best of two worlds, one i get to drive parttime for a fed-ex ground contractor, and work for a major airline...Big planes and big trucks.
Me, Myself, and I, have my own trucking company, haul from the west to east, then back out west. home about every 10-12 days for a day or 2. I chose this way because I don't like qualcomms, lying, cheating fleet managers, and I can choose what I do. I make good money, my name is on the side of my truck, no leases, got my own authority, my own trailer. Some of you might think, yeah, I have my own maintenance bill, but it's mine..![]()
Autumn Transport, Woodbury, MN ...pulling pneumatic tanker..
I pulled pneumatics for a while, mostly just concrete and flyash, but i did work for a company hauling ground rubber in a big 4 barrell tank once owned by Con-Agra foods, sorry if my terminology regarding the tank is wrong, that's just how i referred to it. It took almost 2 hours to unload, our customer told us nothing over 9 PSI though, so that could have had something to do with it. What all do u haul in your tank, and how long is the average unload? Is it more food based products, or all types of commodities?
Spent the last 14 months starving at Mercer Transportation, quit today and am starting at Mawson & Mawson on Monday. We'll see how it goes.
fed ex ground contractor out of columbus ohio. 2 trips a week to new jersey terminal and a relay on saturdays in somerset pa. pay is good. no bennies. i am thinking of going on my own or finding the right place to work.
Keep on rockin'
