Everybody out of Florida Runs all 48. Trucks are governed at 61. You sign a contract stating if you idle over your daily percentage they will charge you for it, somewhere around 4 bux an hr. So if you drive your 11, you can idle for 4hrs. Starting pay is 30cpm, some trucks have 13speed others have 9 speed.

May Trucking - Looking for your experience with them

There are some comments regarding May on that forum (including mine). I didn't run the 48 state fleet, but those I did meet doing so seemed to like it. They are a good company, and they kept the trucks I was driving in good mechanical shape. I wish you good luck with your decision.

30cpm?? 48 states? plus you have to pay them if you want to be comfortable??? where do these companies find people desperate enough to work for them? i guess you can't blame the companies if drivers are stupid enough to put up with crap like that

They didn't seem that desperate if they wouldn't take me on.
Eh, so much for a DUI/Speeding ticket-free record.
