Default MBI Mr Bults Inc. hauling solid waste

Noticed an ad in local paper for this company. Just wondered if anyone had any knowledge about them. They seem to specialize in hauling trash. They have newer trucks and pay seems fairly decent. Thanks

Never heard of them. No idea where they are located. Probably goes for most folks on this site.

MBI is all over So. Cal and Arizona. I see their trucks on AZ 85 near the prison. The dump is right across the freeway from the prison.

I also see them quite a bit in Maryland along US-301. Up there it's mostly KW T-800 daycabs with super-singles. They look like they're in decent shape, but almost always have some dirt on them (but then again, look what they haul). Ask their drivers if you see 'em how they like it. That'd be the most accurate way to find out about 'em.
    Good luck.

I drive for MBI in Salt lake city, Utah.

Each terminal is a little diferent regarding pay and hours/days/shifts worked, but I'll tell you how my place operates.

We work M-f from between 6-5,,,hours vary because of delays in loading, traffic, waits at the landfill, ect,,I average 10 hours a day with a rare saturday or rotation.

We have 3 different transfer stations where you load at. We bid on our spots,,pay is roughly the same wherever you go, drivers usually bid on where they like to drive.

Insurance is average, but for every year that you are there, they cut the amount taken out of your check by a 1/3, so on your fourth year it is free(at least if you're single, thoug I'm sure it is the same for married)

    Vacation SUCKS!!!!!!!
    1 week after 1 year
    2 weeks after 3 years
    3 weeks after 9 YEARS!
4 weeks AFTER 19 YEARS WTF?!

and you do not get a full weeks pay for your vacation, it's usally about 75% of you weekly gross.
we have some paid holidays(at least in salt lake) and again it's a 75% check and you always have to make it up the following saturday ,, so like for thanksgiving off thursday, work friday, work saturday or you don't get paid. So we can't plan of any long weekends

We get paid by the load and by the ton with our gross at 129,000, but we also run 2 45' super sets and are the only ones to do so.

A full weeks pay will gross us about $1000, but you won't get many of those if your at the bottom of the totem pole. I'm at half way and I have 6 full checks since November. I usally missed 1-2 loads a week due to slowdowns in the trash.

The job is pretty low stress, at least at our area. The only real problems are the senior drivers who bitch and moan and cause problems at the transfer stations,,,cause they're senior drivers and shouldn't have to wait for anything regardless of what the situation is,,blah, blah, blah

We get an assigned truck and set of trailers and I have had the same set for over 2 years.
If your terminal runs split shifts, you maybe slip-seated or have to share your truck.
I'm not sure how things work with the single trailers,,,I assume you use the same one over and over.

That's all I can think of at the moment,,,PM me if you have any questions
