Does anybody know how Van Eerden is to work for? How much do they pay?

Wow, apparently you want to driver for Hollanders on the west side of Michigan. If you want a great company to haul for, try Steelcase. They are the best, but I think they have a long list of interested parties.
Good luck with your search and say hi to Lake Michigan for me!
Right now I'm working for USF Holland. YRC is shutting down my terminal. So, after 15 years of working for them I'm back out looking for a job! It sucks but the bills have to be paid!
I can't tell you what their pay is now. In 2003, they were paying Solo driver's 33 cpm, plus the various stop pay, lay over, and what ever else they are willing to offer a driver.
In 2003 my family and I bought a 2000 Pete 379 from them. It was in excellent shape. One of the best maintained trucks we looked at, and we looked at a bunch. Had we bought the other three trucks we did buy, from Van Eerden, we would have been money ahead. But...that only goes to how they maintained their equipment 5 years ago.
Still and all. When you see one of their trucks on the road, you would play heck finding problems with anything, just from the appearance of the equipment. New, Clean, and best of all...no dents and scrapes.
