Van Wyk or Ruan?

I have an app in with Wan Wyk. I just found out they pay a percentage, 21.5 % and really dont care for this as means no pay for empty miles, all as Company driver. Anyone driving for them or have in the past? How are they to work for? Allow idling? Where do they run? Make you wait a long time? Refers are notorious for long waits to pick-up and deliver from when I ran a refer several years before w/another Company.

Also how is Ruan? I live in Kansas City if that matters. Just laid off after two years at Roadway Express because of the merger with Yellow Freight and Roadway Express here they laid off over 100 drivers.
