Forward Air....Owner Operators.

Hey everyone.

I was thinking about possibly leasing onto Forward Air but am having trouble finding info. Just wondering if anyone here is leased onto them? I am curious about their hometime especially. Not really familiar with expedited air freight. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you currently an "Owner-Operator" leased into a company?

As such.....does the company you lease into, restrict the duration of "Hometime" you give yourself??

If so...You need to contact that company's HR department, and make certain you are being paid on a W-4 not a 1099R. If they restrict the manner in which you operate your business, they are treating you as an employee, not an independant contractor, whom decides when, where, what, and most importantly....How long.
