Does anyone know what kind of pre-employment drug test they use? hair or urine?

If you have to ask that question then you should not be applying to pull fuel.....
No offense by any means, but by nature of your question people will think you have something to hide.
Do You???? hoping that they do not do hair test so the they wont detect that joint you smoked three months ago?
It is not worth it, so it is just best to refrain from any use at all, then you have nothing to worry about.

Most companies reserve the right to test in any fashion they choose, so one day it may be a piss test and two days later hair....
