who says those Alcoa rims aren't strong? Done pretty good until he tried to make that turn a little too fast. Gettting of the Interstate was probable not a smart move either, not that the outcome would've been any different but.....
Fortunately his trainer, who was asleep in the bunk, Was not injured.
Don't trust anybody. Especially that guy in the mirror.
Where, I suspect, he shall remain for quite some time.

I think that driver may have played Grand Theft Auto on his PS3 a little too much!:roll2:
Mama cooks the chicken fried in bacon grease, Down the road, Down the road, Down the road a'piece!!
Adapt and overcome.
I can't help but wonder if he is really that stupid, as to think he could get away!
Who thought that was OJ simpson in that white volvo??? C'mon.. That one smokey bear almost got a Darwin award for driving the police car infront of a big truck. What the hell was he thinking. I guess being a Virgina SP sums it up.
LOUD PIPES SAVES LIVES
Reminds me of Smokey and the Bandit
Wow, that was interesting. I got one question, WHAT WAS HE THINKING!!!
Supposed witness' and village idiots claim the truck was zooming down the highway. I don't see in the video where he was driving too crazy other than when the police were trying to force him away from taking certain off ramps and he would get real close to them and at the 3:40 mark where they started really agitating him, he started swerving around to back them off. Good job for going a ways with 2 steers down on the rims. Had to make that delivery so they couldn't slam his DAC for an abandoned load.
It's funny that it says high speed because those trucks are governed at 64mph.....too funny..what an idiot!!!!
I pull flatbed for western and you would be surprised at the people that get hired and all the problems they have with truck abandonment and theft. We now have to show proof of our cdl number and get a gate pass to get out of every terminal now because a driver or ex driver, not sure which, stole a truck on halloween from our Decatur Alabama yard. There are some good drivers there but there is an abnormal number of drivers like this.
So what's Western's speed restriction, 64 mph company wide like stated above jager? He sure wasn't thinking very much in trying to run. Kinda hard to simply disappear with that large of a vehicle.
We are actually set at 65, close enough to what he said though. Not near fast enough to try and run even if that was a good idea lol. After watching that video, the thing I am most impressed with is how well that truck handled and went down the road on the 2 steer rims. no rubber at all on the front and he was rolling around like nothing was wrong. Very stupid thing to do, I cant understand running at all much less in an 18 wheeler. I cant believe I didnt hear about that one through the driver grapvine over at the terminals.
If this guy had a warrant for a felony in Maryland and trucking companies are suppose to run a criminal background check, how did this guy get hired? Was he an employee of Western Express or did he steal the truck somewhere?
Hello? Running your license at a weigh station? How odd
The "driver"'s antenna obviously doesn't go all the way up.Thank goodness noone was hurt!!!
