    Default Texas towing & recovery

This is a question aimed at any Texas drivers that knows of a good, large wrecker company with good equipment, I'm working for a wrecker company in Charlotte, N.C. now and after moving to Texas I would like to stay in that profession but I don't want to live in Dallas/Fort Worth, I would live in or around Waco or Amarillo, Abiline, Midland, places like that but right now I'm just trying to see what is availible and where, I'm wanting to move back to Texas this coming March or April at the latest, that is where I was born and raised and I'm ready to get back there.

Here are some photo's of some of the equipment I'm using right now, if you know of any good wrecker companies in your area that have anything like it pass me their information.

You shouldn't have a problem finding a job, with your experience. I'm in the Orange/Beaumont area on the Gulf. Plenty of wrecker jobs. If you want West TX...stick to Midland / Odessa or Amarillo if you want decent pay and equipment.

Great pictures. How did the garbage truck tip over? And the Arnold truck did he just go around corner too fast?
Don't trust anybody. Especially that guy in the mirror.

Most of the time truck overturns are to the result of speed and turning, two things that don't go well together when operating heavy equipment. The garbage truck was loaded with trash and tried to make a turn way too fast. The Arnold Truck turned over on the ramp from I-85 South to the I-77 South bound ramp right here in Charlotte, N.C. This ramp has laid over A LOT of trucks over the years so keep in mind if you are ever going that way take it slow.. I've seen a lot old seasoned veterans in the trucking business lose their wheels on that ramp, it doesn't matter who you are if you don't treat it with respect it will ruin your day.
