well, i never said i got a hard job...i got a gravy job. that is why i like it so much. yup, i pulled tankers. lowboy, no...but don't they follow you around like all of the other types of trailers. but with your vast experience and knowledge you still could not land a job with duie..or i bet to many other HIGH paying company. maybe one day when you get all growed up you will realize there is more to life that boozing and living with a "bang". you may one day also realize that works for you does not work for others. god, to be 25 again...not that i am to much older than you in years, just a little more grown up.

well repete the reason RGN have a nickname Lowboy is cuz they are so damn low to the ground. Which means if you don't look out you can get hung up on alot of stuff. Like RR crossings etc. Also alot of lowboy stuff is permit moves for Overweight or being wide. You have to chain all the BS down. Also with a RGN the axles are all a way in the back of the trailer. So your turning radius sucks be time. Out of all the trailers on the road i think an RGN is the biggest bitch of them all to drive. Just my 2cents.

Just to let you know Jed the only reason i could not land the job with pyle is for 1 reason. Never pulling a van before. Which 99% of truckers i tell that too laugh and think it is a joke that pyle would not hire someone who has never pulled a van before but have pulled tankers and other trailers.

Also i had a chance about 2 weeks ago to try to get a job working for CAT Rents out of philly. They are teamsters and pay 25+/hr. Reason i did not try for that job is the truck was a little to much for me to handle. I will admit it. A tri axle tractor and a 4axle lowboy with a 5th axle they can add on. Tryin to get that thing around in downtown philly i think i will pass on that.

Anyway I'm done with you for now. Intill the next round. Of JED vs MACKMAN

Are you kidding? You call yourself a "LOCAL" driver BUT yet your afraid of "PHILLY" with an over-size truck? Come on now, if I get that 48' trailer and sleeper cab that I drive into a "upscale" restaurant in "Philly" down by the river, surely you can get an "Over-size" truck around town.

I drive my companys RGN right now in philly. But it is a small RGN just a tandem tractor and trailer. But the truck CAT runs is alot bigger. They can have all that fun of moving CAT 345 track hoes and d7 and d8 around with that thing. More power to them.
