    Default Finding a job

I need a job. I recently moved to North Carolina from New York(could not afford to live there anymore) I drove local up on Long Island for the last 6 years and East Coast dedicated for 7 years before that. I bet I have applied to 20 companies and all I hear is I don't have enough experience. They all want recent OTR, within the last year. I am a little limited, have to get home about every 2 weeks or less, wife can't drive anymore, but I never even get to that part of the conversation. Where can I get a job?

You might try the local (LTL) guys, and see what they all have to offer.
Good luck to ya! Hopefully, something will come up.

Try Celadon. I drove for them and they had no problems getting me home every 2 weeks!

OR DO YOU WANT to live like a German, drive a French car and eat like an American?

Hey Uncle! Is there an R&L terminal at Gaston, IN (I-69 MM-45)? I fuel there sometimes and am always surrounded by R&L trucks in the area?

LOL.............I guess that it all must have been a nightmare Jed! The gals at that Petro are the best looking that I have seen at any truck stop! And................they're ornery as hell! I thought that uncle may be familiar with the crew.

I should have known that a SE Ohio hilljack would be clueless. Good thing that I'm not from the area.

This is why I like VV. She is always bright and cheerful, willing to help at the drop of the hat. Good thing she is an "Eastie" as well.
