since we dont seem do have any JB Hunt recruiters, here is why i was asking. I have noticed some advertisements saying JB Hunt has a tanker division. Have never seen one or heard about it so was wondering did they acquire one or is this just a misprint.

It's possible that they have a couple tankers for a select group of O/Op's, same as a few flatbed's. It could also be a dedicated/regional type deal, don't know for sure, but with JB, anything is possible. I never seen any tanks sit'n around their terminals and I don't recall how they got their fuel hauled into their terminals, if they had their own or had someone else haul it in.

    Not much help am I?

I have seen both JBHunt & CRST units pulling tanks the last few months. Mostly they have been older model tanks, hauling in-edibles. That word on the tank usually denotes "animal fats" being hauled to the bio-deisel plants in the mid-west. (Which is where I have seen the majority of those trucks pulling tanks...on I-70) Those "Animal Fats" could also be getting delivered to feed mills ( ) and to glue factories.

JBHunt has a huge flatbed operation. Have been running them for years. Weyerhauser is probably JB's single largest flatbed dedicated account. They run trailers with side-kits and curtain vans, as well as the standard flats. JB may do dedicated work for Integrity Metals.
