Question Doug Andrus Distributing

I am trying to find some information on Doug Andrus Distributing of Idaho Falls, ID. They seem like a good company, but I haven't found any opinions about them. I'm trying to decide between them and Gordon Trucking, Inc. Any info would be appreciated.

If doug Andrus is the trucks I see with the...ANDRUS logo in Red, White, and Blue they are low pay with relatively old "WELL USED" trucks by well used I mean crappy ...Gordon would be better choice.

If I remember right. There are 2 Andrus companies, but don't know if they're related. There is Doug Andrus out of Idaho Falls and I beleive they have red Petes( the aerodynamic ones, can't remember the damn model tho') and then there is another Andrus with blue and white trucks down in St. George Utah. It's been 2 years since I have been down that way si I don't know if their trucks are still old.,,,,,Aww hell what a useless post,,,I'm sorry

Yeah, Doug Andrus has real sharp looking mostly red trucks. They have 387s, 386s, 379s, Columbias, and Cascadias.

Default Doug Andrus Distributing

The Idaho falls Doug Andrus drives red trucks, not blue. The other Andrus drives blue or blue and white, out of George, UT. not ID falls.
Thery are a great company to work for. They take the best care of their tractors and trailers. They treated me great and fairly. Bonuses are easy to get. FYI

... Tough decision. I worked for Gordon and Prime inc... Doug Andrus Seemed ok from what a friend had told me, but Gordon had much better insurance since theyre self insured. I dont know if DA has done that or not...
as with ANY trucking company you need to look at what YOU want from it... DA and Gordon are both pretty good about getting you home when you need to be as long as you communicate well with your dispatch... I was able to take 3 days off every 2 or 3 weeks with gordon, but didnt really get ahead money wise....
however- if you want to RUN and dont mind staying out? I made MUCH more money running 8-12 weeks at a time with Prime inc... good system there if you arent a whiner and actually know your stuff... good luck.
