    Default Schwerman/Tankstar??

Anyone on here have any experience with this company? I'm considering signing on with them. Recruiter says 7 to 11 day dispatch. .32 empy .37 loaded $16.00 hr load/unload hk/unhk. $15.00 hr delayed. .06 per mile added for error free ontime p/u delivery. NO NYC. Chemical tank.

    Thanks for your reply.

All the Schwermann drivers I talk with say they are plumb happy campers. The cpm you were qouted seems to be their starting wage. Those I know make .43 per mile. Most that I know, are 7 to 10 year employee's.

Another part of Schwermann is Rogers Cartage..have only talked with O/O's there..and most seemed content.

Thanks Orangetxguy. The recruiter I talked to says that you get a .06 per mile for ontime error free pickups and deliveries. So that would put the loaded miles up to .43 He said that 98% of the loads were paid that .06 extra.

Actualy..I'm pretty sure the guy I see around most often, Don...said his base pay was .43. He told me some of the bennies..but Hell...I slept since then..last time we chatted about pay was in February at a tankwash in Bensalem PA. We just BS'ed over dinner the other night (last thursday) at the tankwash in E. Saint Louis IL. We were both ready for sleep by the time we dropped our trailers, checked them in and ate. Best thing about the tankwash in E. Saint Louis, is the meals are free...the food is good..and the showers are extra clean. They even have the weather channel running on tv in the lunch room, while the drivers lounge has full satellite.
