I liked working at Celadon, nice trucks, like mentioned before you will be A LOT in the South, witch is nice in the winter. But the miles you want I wouldnt be so sure about. The miles were the reason I had to move on.

OR DO YOU WANT to live like a German, drive a French car and eat like an American?
Quote from Tonn Ostergard(CEO CRETE Carrier in a Pilot mag. interview): I HOPE for an economic downturn...that FORCES people out of their jobs and into TRUCKING!
I have a buddy who left Decker (the one owned by P.A.M.) and has been driving for Celadon for 2+ years now, he swears by Celadon, loves the miles, gets all he wants, even recently went to Cali and Washington state and was excited over that. They do have a power invertor policy, that you have to pay the shop to put in the wiring for it and it costs like $300 but they will take it out of your check a little at a time I think he said.
He loves the $1000 vacation pay and the week off, they really do that its not a joke. Anyway, if you have any specific questions you want answered ask away and I will call him and get the answers for you.

i enjoyed celadon while i was there a few years back, i was an owner operator, they were just building the terminal south of dallas,.,,,,, which took away ALOT of miles, so instead of going to laredo you would drop load in waxahachie, then wait days for a load, im so glad i dont run for miles anymore!![]()
