    How much does Con-way pay?

    I'm interested in the LTL and P&D pay scales.

    Are the benefits any good? How much does it cost a month? (single, full coverage)

    I would guess their starting wages are .40/mi and 18/hr. I know it takes 5 years to top out and thats probably around 55/mi and 23/hr.

    When I was there they charged you 1% of your weekly gross per week for full family medical, which was pretty good. If you made 1200 you pay $12 if you made 600 you pay $6.

    Western is currently .415 cpm and $18.10 hour IIRC.

    The so-so bennies used to be 1% of gross. This year they changed it to a flat per week based on number of dependents. It was a significant hike for anyone with a family.
