Something sounds fishy about this poster. 1st post and he is giving away his email and phone# to a bunch of stangers on a messages board. All over 2weeks pay. :?
SRT OWES ME OVER $1000. WHY DOES THAT SOUND FISHY. I GOT A SPEEDING TICKET AND THEY HAVE NO TOLERANCE, SO THEY ASKED ME TO QUIT SO THEY WOULD NOT HAVE TO FIRE ME. THEY WERE NICE ABOUT THAT. IT'S BEEN A MONTH SINCE.

S R T called and wanted to get me into orientation, but,I really don't want to drive a reefer and I don't want to drive a purple truck, guess neither one of those things are that bad, but, don't think the pay was that good.I don't want to do worse than Im doing now.
What sounds "fishy" isnt your problem with SRT. But...like I said, who leaves there email and phone number on a board with a bunch of strangers.
Obviously you are new to forums....Ill give you 2 pieces of advise. Loose the CAPS lock and wait on this forum for any possible solutions to your problem with SRT.

Looks like SRT is based in Texarkana, AR. You can do a few things, though I can not promise any success or any quick resolutions if you do get one.
What you can do is: File a complaint with the Arkansas department of labor as well as the department of labor in your home state. You can look up how to do this in each state on the web.
Depending on what the money limits are in your state you may be able to file a case against them in small claims court. Your local county/circuit court may have forms available to help you do this. Check with the clerks office.
Go and talk to a lawyer, ask him what all your options are and see if maybe s/he will send SRT and letter demanding payment of all wages due. Some lawyers will do this for not much money and it can be enough to "scare" SRT into paying up.
In any case be sure to have any and all proof assembled about how much they owe you. You will be asked for it.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.
Thanks U-Turn, sounds like some good advise.

SENT ALL MATERIALS BACK I hope you sent the stuff certified mail, at least you'd have tracking and receipt info. Better would have been "return receipt". BOL
Just asking the obvious. Have you tried calling the personnel or payroll department?
I talked to every department there. nobody knows what the other hand is doing. Going to the labor dept . Or maybe I should contact the head honcho!

WHAT "materials" other than a fuel card would you have KEPT from them and not returned WITH the truck and your keys?Originally Posted by Sealord

Perhaps, I speak for the skeptical side............but I would prefer that you just call them direct, or scan all documentation and make it public as you have the declarations towards this company.
Provide clear documentation.
Clock starting now! Set..........................
