You have a cough? Go home tonight, eat a whole box of Ex-Lax, tomorrow you'll be afraid to cough.
piedmont transport out of charlotte will train. i spoke with the terminal mgr in atlanta and they will train IF they cant find a driver with fuel hauling experience. loves and flying j will also train you if you dont have any fuel hauling experience. check out there website to see if they have any openings in your area. i have been looking for the same job since april and it isnt easy to get into hauling fuel. i just took a physical and drug screen for energy dispatch who hauls fuel for raceway and racetrac stores only. well have a answer tomorrow morning. hope this helped
The only way your going to get a decent answer to your question, is by walking and talking.Originally Posted by HOTROD29335
Walk in the door and talk with the people whom do the hiring.
Look at Kenan Transport, Pope Tanklines, and a couple of the others you find.

I have been doing petroleum for over 12 years. I have heard all the talk about hauling gas and the great pay. This is true. But I haven't heard anyone mention the cons of the the job. Like breathing all the cancer causing chemicals that is in gas. I have had several friends pass from cancer and respitory problems from being around them during their careers in petroleum. Just wanted to let you guys that are interested in it that it's not all roses. Thanks.
See.....I wasnt so far off on my comment about Belpre enhaling gas fumes....
