    Default Mesilla Valley Transport..

    Dont really want any info on this company, dont even know if this is the right forum but... Ive seen a few (not all) of Mesilla Valley Transport out of Las Cruces, NM with hub cap like covers over all of the drive tire rims. It looks kinda funny but probly because I'm not used to it. Now does this actually do anything for wind resistance or is it just for looks?
    I'll gladly pay u tuesday for a hamburger today.

    Ive got em on my drive wheels....little chrome moonies that cover the hub only, not the whole wheel.

    with $5 fuel anything that cuts the wind a little helps. I'm not sure how much that will do, however. I do think that onboard generators are the way to go. I got one on my truck and love it. Never have to worry about the truck starting in cold weather. Just set it to 50 degrees and leave the truck. really does save on fuel from idleing. when i hear guys moan about the high fuel cost and then follow them out to thier idleing trucks i just shake my head. People want to complain but dont want to do anything

    No Missila's cover the whole hole of the rim. All you can see is this cover and the tire. Like a hubcap only larger. I wonder how they are held on and what happens if one comes off while driving down the road.

    I'm guessing a full hubcap reduces drag, but I gotta wonder if brake cool-down is increased after a hard brakeing session. BOL
