Default Schneider doesn't accept New Englanders to their CDL school?

That was the weirdest thing I've ever heard..
Especially since you are supposed to be able to a use a CDL in any state.

I called them up today because they looked like a pretty good company to work for, and they basically told me, "people from new england are not allowed to go to our school".

I tried to explain to them that i understood if i actually might have to TEST in my home state of residence and they wouldn't hear it.. weird.

That doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe you should start looking at some of the trucking company's you see on the highways in your area. That's how I've found out who to look into working for after CDL school.

Their reasoning is likely that they don't move freight in your home area, so they don't want to hire you on and have you stuck away from home.

I was checking the website and found they aren't hiring here in New Hampshire either. I am considering selling out and going the company route.

Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles will not accept a CDL issued by third party testers. The head of the RMV told me that the CDL must be originally issued in the state of domicile of the CDL holder.
