    Default Looking for new company

Been looking at a few companies that I could make a decent salary and still get home every other week most of the time, but, with companies starting to shut the door,I might better stay where I'm at.I like OZARK,ROEHL,TRANSPORT AMERICA,I've worked at ROEHL and they're a pretty good company,I'd be making 5 cents more a mile there than I,m making where I'm at now,the one thing that keeps me where I'm at now is a thousand bucks and a week off for every 30,000 miles you drive, problem is...they have a hard time getting me home when I want to be there, seems they always have one more run for me to make and that will put me out of hours and don't get home when I want to,or need to in some cases, taking a week off in July and if things don't get better,I may have to call one of these companies, they told me if I didn't get into orintation,I'd have to put in another application, thats no problem. And if anyone hears of one of these companies going under, post it and thanks.[/b]

Is that a $1K per week? How many miles/week are you getting?

I think he was trying to say he gets a 1k and a week off for every 30,000 miles he drives.

As for the three companies you listed, I have read good things about TA and Ozark, just read thru the forums and good luck.

30,000 x 5 cents equals 1500 dollars... So your losing 500 in that.
