    Ripley, NY to Cranberry, PA

    502 total Miles.

    $260/day.

That sounds like a gravy run, and if I were a company driver, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat. What sort of load/unload times will you have in Cranberry, PA?

No loading/unloading to deal with. As fast as I can drop the trailer and hook up to another one, I'm on my way.

If I would get to NY and have to sit and wait for the guy who has my trailer to get there, I get paid $16.50/hr. Usually never happens though.

Our best linehaul run pays $270 for 600 miles. So your run is even nicer!

Given where this is in NY, I'd run the hell out of it. Is this going to dry up suddenly, or is it a regular run that will go on forever?

If it is a regular run, then it sure looks like a pretty sweet deal. Try to seek out drivers who've been on that run, if you can, and see if you can get them to tell you the pros and cons of it.

Looks like you'll be running Pennsylvania 8 up and down through Oil City. Not likely to average much more than 45-50 mph on that road. Will sure be fun in the wintertime.

Long days but the pay is good plus you sleep in your own bed everynight. Grab it and run it until some coolie OTR carrier undercuts you for half the rate.

It's for a Rite Aid pharmacy account which we have for atleast 2 more years.
This is what they got me doing for "orientation"!! So much for watching video's all week!
I'm more than likely going to be doing it most of next week too.
After that, I start my regular New Stanton, PA to Quakertown, PA run.
Should be bigger money with that.

When tomorrow complete, I've made about $960 or so for week 1 of orientation! I think I picked a good company!

I-79 north to I-90 east. Probably 98% interstate, all 65 mph except for about 10 miles of 55 near Erie. Nice Deal.

Running 79 to 90 Lebron. Not too bad besides 90 in the winter and being 55 mph most of the way...Thats ok, my truck only goes 62.

He meant Cranberry Twp., PA. Which is off of I79. You would be correct if he was running out of Cranberry,PA which is up by Oil City. Good use of a map though  .
