    Default Fremont - 1 quarter

Well after almost 9 years with my last carrier, due to their financial problems I made the shift to Fremont Contract Carriers out of Fremont NE.

Started their the second week of January. And here's how it went.

I did 35,318 miles the first quarter. Home every weekend for more than the "34 hr" restart time. By the house a couple of times a week. Averaged about 60% drop and hook. No equipment problems. And got $1412 in 1st quarter bonus. Really good customer base that treats you with respect as well. Not ever was I treated bad by a customer.

Glad I made the move. Went to a safety meeting this weekend and everyone from the the Owner to the parts guy in the shop was on a first name basis and made everyone feel like family. It is nice to be with a 300 truck carrier that makes life nice. I opted for the Midwest Regional side of things. Most of the outfit is on a 48 state operation. Dry box and flatbeds.

Not sure of everyone's circumstances, but if looking for a job, I would recommend FCC to anyone.

    Stay safe out there!
