Default Who hires recent grads for bulk?

I am thinking I want to try bulk once I graduate my PTDI certified school. I know Schneider will hire out of school. Who else would you reccommend?

Schneider and CTL (look up comcar companies) are two that I know of.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

Their closest location to me is a 2 hour drive. I doubt they will hire me.

Superior has a terminal in Chattanooga? I've been talking with the Morrow, GA TM about hiring on with them when I get my Class A next week. But they may not have any open trucks. I figured Augusta would be the next closest terminal - which I'm not opposed to considering - but if Chattanooga is a possibility they are way closer to me. Their website doesn't list a terminal there. Is that a new location?

A driver I work with used to work for them and they called him last week and wanted him back, the guy said he would have to park at the Chattanooga terminal. I will call him and ask him where it is, and get the name for you, I think it's over by the river right down the street from Quality Carriers Terminal but I will post as soon as I find out for sure

I am in Northeast PA so it looks like Rahway, NJ is the closest to me. I will give them a call once I graduate, thanks for the tip!

I think maybe they were talking about CTL..... I know of no Superior Carriers terminal in Chattanooga....unless they very recently opened one and forgot to tell the "system fleet" about it. Even if it was a "Trans-Flo" location we would know about it....or even a Carry Terminal..... so I think he was referring to CTL.

The closest locations to Chattanooga are: Morrow, GA (Atlanta), Mount Juliet, TN (Nashville), Louisville, KY, Cincinnati, OH, Kingsport, TN.
Forrest Gump was right....and some people literally strive to prove it.....everyday. Strive not to be one of "them".... And "lemmings" are a dime a dozen!

Remember: The "truth WILL set you free"! If it doesn't "set you free"....."it will trap you in the cesspool of your own design".

They lost my original "avatar"....oh well.

I called and asked him, he said Rusty told him he could park at the Tri mac tank wash in Chattanooga, only because he worked for them for many years and they want him back..

Thanks for the info Skywalker. As of today I've earned my Class A and I have been talking with Rusty out of Morrow. He says he'll do what he can to put me in a truck but I suspect that he simply won't have an empty seat. Per your earlier suggestion I'll explore the possibility of working out of the Augusta terminal if they have a seat available. Chattanooga would've been much closer if there was a terminal there since I'm in Marietta.

I'd love to drive for Superior but if that's not in the cards I'll be looking at other tanker companies who will take students. I know that there are few choices but hopefully persistence will pay off in the long run.
