    Default Gordon Transportation Inc.

Any current drivers for Gordon around here? We had them stop at school yesterday. They sound pretty good for a newbie. Just looking for recent info and opinions - yes -I looked and checked out the search button.

Kona used to drive for them and kept a blog. If you look for post by him you'll find it. He gets on here so you may just want to ask him some questions.

Gordon would be a top pick if I do ever decide to drive as they have a very good rep and don't do much NE mostly midwest and west coast.

    Good Luck.

kona911 is the one you want. He did 2 stints there, loved it the first go round, not so much the 2nd go round. He's a local driver now but he can tell you some good stuff since he saw both ends of the spectrum with'em.

I didn't know he done 2 stints with them I was thinking it was one and he switched from a system driver to a local acct. I must've missed the second time.

hahahaha, I only was with gordon for one "stint"... I really enjoyed my time there. Great people and very nice miles. I quit my local job last week and I'm returning to the road. I won't however be driving for gordon since I want to get on with a 48 state carrier so I can run east consistently instead of every now and then. If you live off of 5 you will get by the house for a quick 10hrs or so quite often. If I wanted to be based on the west coast I'd drive for them again.

Whoops, I see that you live in WI. I'm not to sure about being based out of green bay but I have seen and met some drivers on the west coast running for the WI division.

Ah, couldn't remember for sure, weren't you looking at them again and then decided to stay local for a bit?

I see a few GTI trucks out here in eastern VA now and then.

    Hey Kona!

    That's a chip truck!

    Right ON!

I did that for almost 10 years- LP & Masonite

Hauling out of places like Ft. Bragg, Alder Point, Covelo, in to Samoa, Arcata, Oroville, Antioch, Ukiah.

Never dreamed I would miss it when I was doing it. I will check your blog.
