they pass through some real ****ty drivers while sending quality people home for having a minor collision on their record that's more than 10 years old. i passed through their school, haven't had any issues, and have seen some real pieces of work get through that should have been sent home during the first couple of days. after seeing those "speshal" ones pass through, i became convinced that a total retard can get through their driving school.

a few days ago at a terminal, i noticed my passenger side mirror had been hit. it's all wonky now. :evil:

It is rather funny, to drive along I-55 and seeing all the Swift, Werner, and roadmaster trucks, creeping along the frontage road, out north of west Memphis, with their flasher on while the trucks do the bunny hop.
Last week there were police cars all along that little course they have set up, pulling the trucks over, when I went by SB.

Here is the latest on the search warrants. Appears they have suspended this school and the examining facilties ability to issue CDL's. The warrants were served by the Joint Terrorism Task Force, that don't sound too good for Swift.

I see where Secret Service was brought in, not good news there. My cousin's husband is SS, might have to ask him if he has any idea what it was all about. SS doesn't usually get called unless it is something to do with overseas felony scam crap going on. Looked like a DOT audit that became something much larger with an undercover getting on the inside to get some evidence. I mean they freakin brought in ATF........

If it's dope related, it wouldn't be the first time. Several years ago a Swift truck got popped down on the border with a bunch of weed in the trailer. Doesn't sound like it though. Would they shut down the school and DMV office over that?

Or other drug related issues? I've heard about some of their drivers popping pills, smoking crack and what not. I know there are more drivers of other companies doing this; all I hope is they catch em before they hurt your or my family/friends AND our reputation (which is already not the best, let's be honest).

I am not anywhere close to being an expert on how law enforcement would handle doing a raid regarding drugs...but I seriously doubt that the FBI and the Joint Terrorism Task Force would raid a "driving school" to enforce a drug warrant.

I would have to agree with Orangetxguy on that. One of the other boards was saying it sounded like a CDL scam involving illegals. That sounds a little more plausible considering the JTTF is involved.
