So are you going to commute back in forth in your personal vehicle, or will they let you take the truck home??

Melton used to be the flatbed division of CFI. Not sure if that is true anymore. I know the Granddaughter of the family that owned CFI had control of Melton. All in all, it was a pretty good outfit.

Melton is a GREAT outfit. Loved it there. My only problem there was the time out on the road, but, my dispatcher there was great when I wanted to get home I was there that day or the day b4. If i didnt have enough days built up, no problem, they let me stay home for the things i needed to get done. This was probably due to the fact that i spent 4-6 weeks out at a time but other times only 3 to get home for a bday or anniversary(all really close together). The only thing I really had to get used to was being paid every 2 weeks, but that may have changed in the past couple years, but once we adjusted it was no problem. Going to Melton was probably the best desicion I ever made in trucking, Leaving them was my worst.

Good luck and hope it works out for you there.
