I drove for SMX for a while, a few years back. When I drove for them, they ran 379 Petes. They haul just about anything you can put on a flatbed, and pretty much run 48. I think, Western Express bought them. Or maybe, it's visa versa. Anyway, they are in cahoots with Western Express. Good benefits, but my hometime wasnt very good. I mostly ran out in Arizona, and California.

Well, be careful on their regional stuff. I was told that I would be running south central regional, and I was up in Fort Dodge (company headquarters) most of the time that I drove for them. I was told that I would be running south central regional, and I may come to Fort Dodge once every six months. I wasnt with them for six months, but I was up in Iowa more than my south central regional. :P They run a lot of freight in California, and southwest.
