    Default Decision time

I have been accepted, and have a start date of Nov 26 from 3 companies. I applied to all on Thursday and they all called Friday and said I checked out and can start Orientation on the 26th. Anyway, LCT is close to home, no bus ride but Arrow and Maverick are a long bus ride. Aside from that does anyone have an opinion on who would be the best choice for a new driver, 3 months exp. Thanks

    1. LCT Transportation (reefer)
    2. Arrow (f/bed)
    3. Maverick (f/bed)

It would help, if we new where you live- your 10-10 CB friend?

Usually when I'm calling around...an important question I always ask the Recruiter is HOW do you get me to Orientation...some companies are Cheap other's (the smaller ones-simply can't afford any other means besides GrayHound)
Some companies will actually Fly you in and other's will provide a Rental Car(so you can drive yourself)
I'll never spend Days on a Bus ever again.

Crete/Shaffer provided me with a rental car.
    Roehl offered rental car
Gordon promised to Fly me in
Poly promised to Fly me in.

It's also not really "cool" to go all the way and get "accepted" at more than
1 company....the other's that you "bail" from after they're expecting you in
their Orientation might not Hire you a second time- after a "no show". It's important to be upfront with them at all times and not commit youself. You can always call your #2 choice from Orientation at #1( if it doesn't go well-or you get a bad 'vib' and change your mind.

Ok, I see from the other post you live in Valdosta, Ga.
    Have you considered/called Millis?
    How about Crete/Shaffer?
Crete/Shaffer has a drop yard/terminal in Tifton, Ga
with only 3 months experience they'd probably want you go go back out with a trainer some more...but at least they pay $500.00 a week to trainees.
