Cool! This whole "van thing" is soooo much different than working for TMC flatbed, where the trailer was your LIFE! If you got a good trailer, you'd hang onto it for dear life 'lest you get a lousy one with a bad dump valve or bent side rails. No to mention if you seperated truck and trailer at TMC, it better be because you flipped over.

I just may LIKE driving van. Who would have thought!!! LOL

if we have the same trailer for 4 days something is wrong...

beleave it or not we will have 3 trailers today.
1st was load from sacramento, ca to west middlesex, pa. droped this morning hooked mt trailer and pulled it to columbus, oh. droped it and waiting for our loaded trailer now.

we do about 4 live load/unload a month the rest are all drop and hook

look at it this way IF you get a bad trailer you will only have it for a day or two

if it needs fixed it goes into the shop even if the loads late. thats what WE do i just wish all the drivers would do that. but sometimes you get one that going to the shop just will not fix "off tracking" i will say i have NEVER had a problem taking one to get fixed just have to say UNSAFE and off to the shop we go. i'll put it in the shop to have a lite changed if i don't want to or can't do it myself..
