There are a lot of carriers out there that have pet programs. Most major carriers only allow one pet. For example with Celadon you can have one pet dog or cat only up to 50 pounds, must be on leash at all times when not in truck, must have rabies certificate signed and dated by veterinarian, $300 deposit with $150 non-refundable. They will deduct $25 a week from your check until you've reached $300. But there are a lot of companies out there with pet policies just slightly different rules. Hope this helps.

I've been researching this out too. So far CFI and Werner and one other I can't think of right now (too tired) allow pets.
Today, I spoke with a lady Werner driver with a dog. Werner has a $1000 deposit for dogs over 35 pounds!!! Need to be very happy and dedicated to the company to give them that kind of money no matter how much you love your pet.
Roehl will not allow pets unless you are either a company lease or O/O.
Soladad
Watkins & Shepard does, dogs/cats, $500 deposit, refundable if truck is clean and undamaged.
HTH
Covenant allows one dog/cat up to 100 lb. w/$500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, $25./week until paid, even if you decide not to keep the pet on the truck. Yeah, I did it- I loved my dog so I signed the paper.
US Xpress will allow a pet....$500 deposit I'm sure they take in out in payroll deductions like most everyone else
Click on "Company Listings" in the orange header above.Click which type of carrier you would like to work for (Dry Van, Reefer, etc.). Click on any company listed on the page that comes up.. When the carrier's info page comes up look under General Information about 2/3's of the way down the page. The last listing says pets, and it will tell you either yes or no for any company you desire to know about....
Food has replaced sex in my life. Now I can't even get in my own pants....

I've been dogless for over a year now; and I
REALLY miss having a dog.
