Saw this posted on Oct. 1,2007 from Sheepdancer...hope it helps

"Well, its official....I no longer work for JB Hunt nor do I still work in the trucking industry. I had a couple of really good opportunities thrown at me and I would be stupid not to take them.
I will still check out here from time to time and if you have any questions about JB I will be glad to help you and send you over to one of my buddies still there. I quit on good terms and who knows.....sometime I might go back there.
Also, a couple of you are still signed up for orientation on this board...PLEASE STILL SHOW UP!!! I will still get paid on you... .
Y'all have been fun....even the negative ones! "

    Good one!!

Cluggy did get banned and Sheepdancer moved outside of the trucking industry after leaving JB for greener pastures, but he said he would check back here now and then.

As for OKtrucker, the IP addresses don't match up so probably not another version of Cluggy.

Not Cluggy reborn, just was a follower of the thread and noticed I had not seen either cluggy or sheepdancer for awhile. Although I did not really care for his antics and constant bashing I was enjoying the tanker pay updates, but I knew his time was coming.
Thanks for the updates, I hope that sheepdancer is satisfied with his change of direction.
    Be safe out there

Scoe, you know it's real easy to change your IP address if you know where to look for it in your computer.

Although each computer does in fact have an IP address, I am pretty sure it's the cable modems IP address that you are using that goes out. Not the individual computers.

    Im still alive!!!!!

Before I left JB, cluggy was frequinting that other site where there were more negative people like him. He also created his own website "jbhuntsucks.com"...lol. He even made a message board just like this one. Last time I checked, he had 3 members.

Me, like I said, I no longer work in the trucking industry. Im working for a business consulting firm and still sort of recruiting. However, now I recruit people for executive positions in the finance industry

Let Cluggy do what he does. When you say he must have too much time on his hands.....if I would have read posts like his I would have saved myself a lot of pain and suffering. I belived much of the stuff the recruiters feed you, how naive I was. I could tell very similar stories about Celadon, Shaffer, or the worst Gainey. But all I would get is attacks of drivers who see driving the truck for THEIR company as a religion. Telling themself and others how good they get paid and treated, so that they can convince themself with it. And yes, maybe there are guys who make good money OTR in the big companies, I just never met them. Any driver I talked to, mostly of the company I drove for at the time had the same doom and gloom like me. If I wouldnt have stumbled over a linehaul position with better pay then OTR for Shaffer and daily hometime and weekends off, I would have left the trucking industry myself by now. When I just think how many of these companies screw you over with this 10% or maybe 20% or even 25% miles you dont get paid for and then drivers justifying it, it makes me sick all over again. (No, Shaffer pays practical miles, i know)

    Wanna bet? :P

Yes, it's me, Cluggy. I do love the extra comments, and all of the love you all had for me.

However, my trial time for the program I'm using is almost up. So I will say a couple of things.
    • First, I hope everybody had a Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.

Second, even though my site is still up, I don't really bash on JB anymore. I got more to do with my time. I did put a link to CAD on the first page.

Third, I still work for Southwest Petroleum Transport, in Denton, TX as a tanker driver. I had my own reason to pull my info off this thread...not the BS some of you have listed.

Fourth. I apologize to all I have offended. But I am what I am.

Now, with this posting, I know I will be banned. And I should be, with the way I have behaved. I do want to thank all of you who still think of me. And to Ridge Runner.....I'll go write that book.

I wish you all the best. I'll keep an eye on this thread if your want to say hello.

    Good-bye, and good luck.
