    Default Local job

Try R+L Carriers. Located in Newark,NJ. They always hire, pay is good(in my opinion). You be home daily, you can drive day or night(linehaul).

Try National Frieght. They have a dedicated in Burlington, NJ, BJ's wholesale. Also try down towards Sweedsboro. US Foods has a warehouse there and so does Donkin Donuts.

New Penn is looking for P&D men out their South Kearny barn. But the freight business is tough right now. I know a guy who hired on to Wegman's in Woodbridge. Grocery Haulers is hiring out of South Kearny and Avenel. Don't know much about those guys except that they're Teamsters.

If you have the experience you have....and have a tanker endorsement, all you would need is hazmat, then you could look at Superior Carriers who has a terminal in Rahway and Bridgeport. I don't know if either terminal needs any local guys right now...but it might be worth a look. Plus there are other tanker outfits up there...in your neck of the woods.
Forrest Gump was right....and some people literally strive to prove it.....everyday. Strive not to be one of "them".... And "lemmings" are a dime a dozen!

They lost my original "avatar"....oh well.

I think he's maybe refering to an old SNL skit with Joe Piscapo in which he always says, "I'm from Joisey, are you from Joisey?" What exit....
