use the search forum on this board. there are many opinions on the company . i, personally, would not believe a damn thing the recruiter tells you or the "driver recruiters"

Are you willing to die to take them away from me?
Quit posting info you've only heard on the internet. I have a buddy who's been running with them the past few months and he averages 2800-3k. Complain and want to go home all the time you earn your much needed -2000 miles weeks easily.
Yep :!:
As far as finding a good job in trucking The Internet simply amounts to echo...aka >>chasing down what one wishes to hear in other words.
Its unreal in this respect.
Go to the truckstop and talk direct to the drivers who are with the company you are intrested in.
I have driven at least 3 drivers home because they got involved in trucking and ultimatley were not able to accept the reality of the job.
I suppose trucking lifestyle works if thats what one really wants.

I live in Bullhead City AZ
Studying for my CDL as we speak but need training. I live in a RV park and right across the street in vacant city lot one of your trucks park every weekend. I have never met the driver but wonder if you would like two of your trucks parked in the lot. Train me and that can happen
Thanks
Gordon
Gordon,
Thanks for the message - we currently require 12 full months of Over the Road truck driving before we can get you hired on over here at Heartland Express. Unfortunately we don't have any training programs at all. Once you have that year we can get you on here, so let me know if you'd like an info packet sent out and we'll be glad to keep in touch with you. Thanks again!

So they seem like pretty nice people and have some routes that will get you home weekly if you want.
The Old Fart
I have heard time and again 'the smaller the company the better'
(under 1000 units)
if that helps
but then some people like the giant companies

It isnt.
Everything I need to know about driving a truck I learned from watching "DUEL"
