I'm starting my CDL A school 9/24. I understand towards the end there will be recruiters, however I have been looking a Maverick and TMC. TMC hasn't returned my calls in 3 days nor answered my email. Should I just apply on line and let the get back to me? My only concern is my SSN. I'm sure you've hear the horror stories with putting you SSN on line. Are these companines web sites secure. Thanks for any help.

Yeah most of the companies websites are secure. When I applied to Maverick I recieved an e-mail stating they recieved the app. Then I recieved a letter a few days later and that was all. I would recommend apply on line first, then maybe a follow up call a few days later to the recuriting dept.

The websites are secure and TMC probably wont talk to you unil you have your license in hand.

Can not speak for all companies, but some will not respond to an application until you are at least in school, unless of course you are applying to a company sponsored CDl program.

Thanks for input. I enrolled and start Class A 9/24. Apps are out, see who comes thru. TKS again

You will probably have to call and follow up on TMC. When I was recruited I was told by them that if you really want to work there, Then you let them know. The recruiter said that they were kind of arrogant that way. But that is how they roll.. Call em up yourself.

You were right, I called them first thing and their running thru as we speak, said everything is in order and I'll be hearing back from them on Monday. Thanks for that.
