It is my understanding that W/S does furniture LTL. Is this linehaul or local P&D? How do they pay for these types of positions?
Thanks

I think it depends on the area. The furniture that came to the warehouse I used to work at was line haul, but I think their operations in the N.C. area are P&d. I'm not sure on the pay, but the drivers I've talked to were mainly local drivers and they had been their for a good while. One driver that came to our store had been with w/s for 6 years and he said he liked it there. They want drivers to live close to their terminals. I've commented on some of the other w/s threads so look there also for some more info on my opinions on them. BOL
I did see your threads and you did supply great information.![]()
I'm looking to find out more on their local operations. I actually got a call from a recruiter tonight. Will call and get some more info.
Thanks

Pay is usually hourly with some milage, some line haul as well, I see they're looking for a driver from Salt lake City to Los Angeles, local drivers in Spokane, L A, Kent, Vancouver.
