It's been a while since I was in orientation, but I'll try to help you out. I can't remember details but,the first day it's about papper work. Don't look for much of a meal but it was alright, other than the trainers comming in and feeding there bellies leaving the newbys with less. after the 1st day it's safety, safety, safety. Lots of safety movies and lots of speeches about it. I'm not complaining, I think it's a good idea. "The last 5 seconds", was the best. You probably won't forget it. I think the 3rd day we tested out in the south lot, showing our backing skills, then a road test. The last 2 days consisted mostly of load securement. The trainers will push you, but try to egnore yhem. Tom I think was the one who I liked the least. He can be a little on the unbearable side. If he bothers you a lot, just ask him if he's from Texas!! You should get a paper the first day telling you what to expect down to the muinute. Oh ya, you'll be doing a phisical the 2nd or 3rd day; and you'll be expected to lift a 90# tarp to you're chest, back up a couple feet and put it down. A peice of cake compaired to what you'll be going though on the road. Trying to tarp and untarp in bad weather and high winds will humble you in a hurry. If you have anymore questians be free to ask as I can't remember details. but 4 or 5 days won't be long enough info. Sorry bout the spelling.Originally Posted by machzero17
