Actually, FFE does have a less than stellar reputation.

I've know several drivers who worked for them; they all reported the same things, such as nasty dispatchers who become vulgar and abusive, threatening to "decorate" the driver's DAC report, as well as Trip Paks that have a way of "getting "lost", thus shorting a driver of his/her hard earned dinero.

Don't know about hometime overall, but here in Texas, at their San Antonio Terminal, they give you 2 days off, no matter how many weeks you've been out.

It's been about a year since I heard anything current about them, so perhaps (hopefully!?!) things may have changed for the better.

Don't know about maintainence, but trucks are slooowwwww!! (66mph.)

I've heard just about the same about Lisa Motor Lines as well. Useless pretty much hit the nail head-on.

Keep in mind, that Lisa Motor Lines, and American Eagle Lines are in cahoots with FFE.
