percentage usually is better IF you stay loaded, 25% is the industry standard, That's what I get for tanker and I average 900 a week take home, being home every weekend. the guys who stay out 2 or 3 weeks make a lot more, be sure they pay you for waiting time, usually after 2 hours and breakdown layovers and things like that. the good thing about percentage is your pay automatically goes up when the rates do
