Alright then.... but I would REALLY appreciate it if nobody would mess this up for me.... I REALLY need this to provide for my family!!! Call me nervous or whatever... but bad luck has always seemed to follow me... So the wife felt it was in our best interest to not reveal the name of the employer. But like I said its a local LTL carrier called ESTES! They've got a terminal about 4 minuted from the house.... and I needed my HAZMAT and DOUBLES/TRIPLES too, haha, so I'm SO glad I got that in my down time!!!!

To be completely honest, I dunno exactly what I thought.... but that the plague of bad luck that follows me must show its face somehow... :? I guess I worry about my previous employer getting word I actually received an easier job with higher pay and pickin up the phone to cause irreversable damage...... I dunno??? See, I've always been Union.... a Teamster. This is a non-union company and what I feel will be a beneficial/positive change for me. I'd rather start working, prove myself, and so forth before anyone or anything attempts to bring me down... if that makes sense. Hell, I may just be perinoid (sp?).... but you've gotta be these days.

Here's the truth of the matter. You didn't have to tell these *****HOLES anything. And what a bunch of jack***** you all are. So what if he didn't want to tell you where he worked. A little news flash for all of you.

Good luck at your job....sorry for starting this BS they gave you.

OK Cluggy, if you say so,
Personally I think if a guy is going to start his own thread bragging about a good job he kinda made it our business and is a little obligated to tell the rest of the story...either way I didnt lose any sleep over it.

And to unkut I say congrats, Estes is a good job, BOL.

BOL on the new job at Estes. Just out of curiosity did they tell you if you would be a dock worker who has a CDL or a CDL driver who will be driving primarily?

I was hired in as a full time Class A driver. First week on the dock to learn how the trucks are loaded, 2nd week is on the road with a supervisor, and third week I'm on my own...

This coming from a guy who makes it his lifes mission to :dung: all over every JB Hunt post. Nice.

I agree with the post that said if someone comes on here telling everyone what a great job he has, he should let us know.

Look guys... I never meant for this to go the wrong way. I apologize for any crap I may have caused. And to answer your questions..... or atleast provide my piece..... when a person creates a thread they only are required to say whatever THEY want.... and nothing more! NOTHING is owed to anyone.... Yes, a persons thread may give folks that "whats next" feeling.... but its NOT required... Having said that, please let it go. Every question has been answered and no feelings hurt... hopefully, hahaha!
