Thread: DEDICATED RUNS:

    Default DEDICATED RUNS:

My newest strategy is to try to look for a repeating, dedicated run:

For example, Baltimore to Indianapolis. It does not have to be strictly baltimore to indianapolis but i choose this example because it illustrates what i consider to be an ideal run.

    My reasons are as follows:
    1) it takes approx 11hours to go from Balt to Indy. I would have to stop anyways at the turn-around point.
    2) Because it's the same run, i can craiglist someone at indy to possibly rent their house for cheap---say $13 a night.

    3) parking problems would probably be solved as i can park at the turnaround point, most likely a customer.

    4) Food and other needs can be easily located and utilized---no more uncertainty.

Please offer some suggestions if you know of any.

I'd be doing any planning with an eye toward the fact that we might be about to lose the 11th hour of driving.

Yes, i've considered that, but seeing how things are going---and how slow our governing departments work, i'm going with 11 hours for now.

Might I suggest a Dedicated Repeating Psychiatrist, with whom you could discuss your 17 different screen names and personalities, along with your delusions of granduer and fetish for womens footwear....

Who needs $13 bad enough to let you anywhere near their house.

    My reasons are as follows:
    1) it takes approx 11hours to go from Balt to Indy. I would have to stop anyways at the turn-around point ,and hit the pipe for the return trip.
    2) Because it's the same run, i can craiglist someone at indy to possibly rent a "CRACK" house for cheap---say $13 a night.

    3) parking problems would probably be solved as i can park at the "DELIVERY" point, most likely a "customer".

    4) needles and other needs can be easily located and utilized---no more uncertainty of sharing used syringes.

Please offer some suggestions if you know of any.

If conditions are right. Murphy's Law always wins though

Just hope that they are not physco

    3) parking problems would probably be solved as i can park at the turnaround point, most likely a customer.
If they allow it. Some customers may tell you "NO"

    4) Food and other needs can be easily located and utilized---no more uncertainty.
Not always. There maybe nothing near the customer

If I read your idea correctly you'd head out from Point A to Point B then return to Point A the next day.

That being the case just stay in your truck, carry some food and find a truckstop to park at overnight before heading back. Correct me if I misread what you were trying to convey.
