Default Which companies pay Owner Operators the most?

    • Can some one out there help me with information on how much these trucking companies pay owner operators? (Fedex Custom critical gave me a quote of 65% of what the truck makes ($2.15 / mile). The downside is that their drivers sit a lot. HELP Please!!!!!!![list:77fa77bc36]

Any chemical tanker company will beat out any box company. You would have to have the X endorsement for tanker/hazmat and no less than 1 to 2 years OTR experience. With tankers....its not just all about the miles... 8)

I've never met an unhappy Mercer driver.
When I get old, I move north and drive slow in the fast lane.

Not trying to be a back-seat moderator, but you would do well to repost this thread under the CAD "Owner/Operator" Forum.

    Default Thankx

    • I am still trying to get more information on what company to lease my truck to as an owner operator. I run great and I have not been lucky to find any company that will run me enough. I have 3yrs tank (hazmat experience and a decent driving record.
